A homogenous film of metal alloy is deposited on a high grade ceramic body. After a helical groove has been cut in the resistive layer, tinned connecting wires of electrolytic copper are welded to the end-caps.
 
The resistors are moulding which provides electrical, mechanical, and climatic protection. The power of high precision metal film resistor MPF series is up to 4W, it can be worked under 500V, TCR is as low as 5ppm with tolerance 0.02%. Resistance ranges from 5Ω to 30MΩ.
