The charging pile is the 'nipple' of the new energy vehicle, and the new energy vehicle cannot drive without the popularity of charging post. With the increasing use of new energy vehicles, many places are actively promoting the installation and use of charging piles. How to realize fast charging and reduce the failure rate of charging pile has become a difficult problem for many charging pile companies. At present, many DC charging piles on the market are designed with high precision resistors, and the fault rate of many charging piles are reduced in use.

Under normal circumstances, the DC charging pile is a AC-DC charging module with high precision resistor, which converts AC to DC, adjusts and lift voltage and current to charge the electric vehicle power battery. The DC charging pile adopts three-phase four-wire power supply, which can provide enough power. The output voltage and current can be adjusted in a wide range, and the requirement of fast charging can be realized. The input voltage is three-phase four-wire AC380V ±15%, the frequency is 50Hz, the output is adjustable DC, and the power battery of the electric vehicle is rechargeable directly.
 
In addition, charging pile conducts AC-DC conversion, DC-DC conversion, the core part is to control the operation of IGBT module to achieve. High power density, high voltage, high current IGBT power module is the core center. Meanwhile, high precision resistor applied is also critical, the higher the power density, the more compact the design of the power drive system. At the same volume, more power can be produced. This makes the role of IGBT and precision resistor in the power control part very important.

With the power converter low-loss IGBT and precision resistor solutions, a unique trench gate configuration is used in this solution-solving process structure. Compared with the prior charging pile products, the trench gate structure has a faster conversion performance, which is an essential characteristic of the performance index of the direct-current charging pile solution.
Moreover, the conduction loss is reduced by reducing the saturation voltage. In addition, the performance index of the charging pile product with precision resistor  improves by 30% compared to the previous charging pile, helping to reduce power consumption and improve overall performance for the charging pile system.

At present, many charging pile production companies are increasingly demanding the use of resistors, and many charging piles work extra long in high-load environments, which makes the precision resistor products must have more stable performance and lower temperature drift, and also can withstand the long time under the large current environment overloading work.
